My name is Doro, the mind and the (crafty) hands behind Lady Magenta Jewellery. I'm from the warm and sunny Southern Italy, but I've lived in the UK for several years now.

My journey into the beautiful jewellery making world started at the age of 12, by making necklaces and bracelets for myself and my school friends with any materials I could find in the house (including an old piece of wood and hard cover books to simulate a bead loom - still works as a great solution if you're on a budget btw). My passion for jewellery making, after several years of "silence", blew up again during the second wave of pandemic in 2020, after chatting with one of my best friends about crafting by using polyshrink plastic (which is still one of my favourite materials). Since then, I have started creating my new creations, developing my own unique style, seeking for inspiration from all the potential materials around me in which I see a piece of jewellery.

I regularly attend craft fayre events in South Wales, especially in the Gwent, Torfaen and Caerphilly areas, however my creations are of course still available online (please keep an eye on my socials to stay updated on the latest events which I update on a regular basis)
